Happy Hair Growing

Hair oil Mix

I wrote a post about a Hair growth mix I made for my mom (who is natural) and I got lots of feedback so here’s the one I use for my (relaxed/stretching) hair.

*Melted shea butter

* Coconut Oil

* Grapeseed Oil

* Lavender Oil

*Castor Oil

*Rosemary Oil

*Olive Oil

My hair is really dry, and I basically go to school in the desert so my mix is mostly shea & Coconut Oil.

And I usually get my oils from Target for cheaper than Sprout or Whole Foods,but I’ve noticed they only sell them in more ethnically populated areas so I usually stock up when I come back home.

I put it in a little spray bottle and use it while deep conditioning, and when my hair is in dire need of moisture. It really helps when I’m stretching and my new growth is being unmanageable.

Nubian Heritage Black seed Honey soap

Is the best soap ever. It’s better than black soap I am absolutely in love with it.

I got it from the Beauty Supply for 2.99. (ALOT cheaper than other products I’ve tried for acne) It’s corrected my tone, really moisturizes it, and cleared up my acne. I’ve used the Black Soap by this company and I really liked it, but it leaves my face dry so I really love this. Highly Reccomended

DIY Spot Treatment

Water + Apple Cider Vinegar

apply to pimple or spot before bed and voila!

Super cheap!

I also usually put a small amount of grapeseed oil on my hands and use it like a toner/moisturizer. Grapeseed oil also has lots of great properties for skin, both a lot cheaper than kits you can buy.

what the codes on your fruits and veggies really mean - 4 numbers mean they were conventionally grown, 5 numbers starting with number 8 means they are genetically modified (gmo), and 5 numbers starting with 9 means they were organically grown (no pesticides or gmos)
